Delete your Wamen identity

Deletion requires a fresh WhatsApp proof so another person cannot delete your identity.

What deletion removes

Wamen deletes your principal and its keyed WhatsApp LID lookup. Phone numbers are already transaction-only and are not retained on your principal. Sanitized operational events expire after seven days.

Before you continue

Future sign-ins create a new Wamen principal and new subject for every application origin. Applications that know only your old subject may no longer find your existing account. This request does not delete accounts or data held by applications that use Wamen; contact each application separately.

You will review the request before the verified deletion is completed.
